Consumer Review of sonnenlit.de
When people search for a company on ScamAdviser, it's because they want to know if the company is safe to do business with. Since Sonnenlit became one of the most searched sites on ScamAdviser, we wanted to research and find out more about the company. Sonnenlit is an online shop with a German domain and language and specializes in selling women's clothing, jewellery, and accessories. Is it really German? Everything about the site screams German, from the domain (.de) to the language used on the site. However, when we tried to find more information about the company, we realized that things don't add up. For starters, the site claims to be in "Room 610, Building 2, No.109, Software Avenue, Yuhuatai District, Nanjing, CN210012". This is a Chinese address, which begs the question, why would a German company have its headquarters in China? Upon further research, we found that this is a common trick by Chinese scammers. They use a German domain and language to trick people into thinking they're dealing with a legitimate German company. How do we know this isn't just an honest mistake? Given that the company is registered in China, it's highly unlikely that they would have a German mailing address. This is just one more red flag that points to the fact that this company is most likely a scam. Plus, the store says its official company name is Nanjing Yikefan Information Technology Co., Ltd. This is another Chinese company name, which again, raises more suspicion about

In our Analysis we always check the Tranco ranking. In this case it was low. A low Tranco ranking means that the website has relatively few visitors. For a new website this is logical. The same is true for a highly specialized website. However if the website claims to be a large corporate or popular site, than warning flags should be raised.
We have given sonnenlit.de a slightly lower trust score because we found keywords that indicate the website suggests the website is still in creation or incomplete or that it includes language typically linked with fraudulent activity. Detecting such text on a website usually indicates that the site is in the development stages and is not yet suitable for use or may be associated with fraudulent activity. On the other hand, scammers frequently use templates and fail to remove these standard content. As a result, websites that include these common phrases receive lower marks in our evaluations. If you are considering doing business with this website, we recommend contacting them first via email or phone to see if they are in business.

This website is using tools to show reviews which it can manipulate itself. In theory, the owner of the site can decide to not show, edit or prioritize reviews. While the website may be legit, this kind of internal review systems are also used by scammers who create their own reviews. As a result, we gave the website slightly fewer points.
This webshop is offering payment methods that can be considered reasonably safe such as credit card and Paypal. These companies usually offer the option to get your money back in case the merchant does not deliver or the product has been broken during transportation. However, no payment method gives money back all the time. Make sure you file a complaint in time and be careful with the limitations your credit card or payment methods have set. Our blog post on Safe Payment Methods discusses all payment methods offered.
We found a valid SSL Certificate. An SSL certificate is used to secure communication between your computer and the website. There are different levels of SSL certification. A free one is also available and this one is used by online scammers. Still, not having an SSL certificate is worse than having one, especially if you have to enter your contact details.

As the influence of the internet rises, so does the prevalence of online scams. There are fraudsters making all kinds of claims to trap victims online - from fake investment opportunities to online stores - and the internet allows them to operate from any part of the world with anonymity. The ability to spot online scams is an important skill to have as the virtual world is increasingly becoming a part of every facet of our lives. The below tips will help you identify the signs which can indicate that a website could be a scam. Common Sense: Too Good To Be True When looking for goods online, a great deal can be very enticing. A Gucci bag or a new iPhone for half the price? Who wouldn’t want to grab such a deal? Scammers know this too and try to take advantage of the fact. If an online deal looks too good to be true, think twice and double-check things. The easiest way to do this is to simply check out the same product at competing websites (that you trust). If the difference in prices is huge, it might be better to double-check the rest of the website. Scammers know this and often insert logos of social media sites on their websites. Scratching beneath the surface often reveals this fu

Knowing what recovery realistically looks like—and what it doesn’t—can prevent panic, bad decisions, and costly follow-up scams. In a Nutshell Crypto recovery is possible, but only in limited situations Blockchain transactions are irreversible, but stolen crypto can still be traced Speed and documentation matter more than optimism Police and exchanges play a bigger role than private recovery services Guaranteed recovery offers are almost always scams Is it Actually Possible to Recover Stolen Crypto? Yes, crypto recovery is possible, but only under specific conditions and rarely through direct action by the victim. Blockchain transactions are final by design. Once crypto is sent and confirmed, it cannot be reversed. There is no central authority, no chargeback process, and no technical “undo” button, even if the transaction was clearly fraudulent. This is where many people ask whether stolen crypto can be traced. In most cases, it can. Every transaction
