With the rising cases of online shopping scams, it is important to be vigilant and do your research before making any purchases, especially from unfamiliar sites.

A very new website

Scrubi.se is a new website having been registered in May 2022. With new websites, it can, sometimes, be hard to really know if they are legitimate businesses or not as it takes some time to build up a reputation.

When we checked Scrubi.se on Whois.com, there was no information about the real owners of the website. This is not necessarily a sign that the website is a scam, as many businesses choose to keep their information private for various reasons but keeping the information hidden does not build trust.

Non-existent customer reviews

Being a new website, it is not surprising that Scrubi.se does not have any customer reviews yet. This lack of reviews could be a red flag as it makes it difficult to gauge the quality of their products and service.

On the other hand, it is possible that the website is simply too new for there to be any reviews yet.

When it came to the onsite reviews, most of the products have listed reviewed but when we tried clicking on them, we were taken back to the product page.

However, I tripped on the reviews, mostly by chance, and they all look a little bit fake. All appeared manipulated and all have very high ratings with none of them having anything less than 4.8 stars out of 5. Read our article ‘How to Recognize Fake Reviews’ for tips on spotting fake reviews.

The return policy

Usually, a store will make it easier for customers to return items if they are not happy with their purchase. This helps to build trust with potential buyers.

Scrubi.se does have a returns policy, but it is stricter than what we normally see. According to their policy, you will bear the cost of shipping the item back to them and you can only return items that are unopened and in their original packaging.

We found that Scrubi.se had many grammatical errors on their website, which gave us a negative impression of the store.

Bottom Line

Overall, there is not much information available about Scrubi.se, which makes it difficult to say for sure if they are a fraud or a legit shop.

The website is very new and does not have any customer reviews yet. There are also many grammatical errors on the site, which gives a negative impression of the store.

All these, plus the cooked customer reviews, we would recommend that you exercise caution if you decide to make a purchase from Scrubi.se.

It would be safer to wait for a few more months to see if any more information about the store becomes available, or until they have built up a better reputation.

The below tips will help you identify the signs which can indicate that a website could be a scam. Common Sense: Too Good To Be True When looking for goods online, a great deal can be very enticing. A Gucci bag or a new iPhone for half the price? Who wouldn’t want to grab such a deal? Scammers know this too and try to take advantage of the fact. If an online deal looks too good to be true, think twice and double-check things. The easiest way to do this is to simply check out the same product at competing websites (that you trust). If the difference in prices is huge, it might be better to double-check the rest of the website. Scammers know this and often insert logos of social media sites on their websites. Scratching beneath the surface often reveals this fu

Once seen as a problem for exchanges and whales, crypto theft now heavily affects everyday investors. Phishing links, fake support chats, wallet approval scams, SIM swaps, and malware attacks have become common. Knowing what recovery realistically looks like—and what it doesn’t—can prevent panic, bad decisions, and costly follow-up scams. Yes, crypto recovery is possible, but only under specific conditions and rarely through direct action by the victim. Blockchain transactions are final by design. Once crypto is sent and confirmed, it cannot be reversed. There is no central authority, no chargeback process, and no technical “undo” button, even if the transaction was clearly fraudulent. This is where many people ask whether stolen crypto can be traced. In most cases, it can. Every transaction
