Rushwork.in is an online store that offers a wide range of products from gadgets, electronic accessories, fashion accessories, and other equipment. But is it a legit website or a fraud? Let’s find out, shall we?

When were they started?

The start date is quite helpful as new websites are usually harder to find enough information about. That does not mean that older websites are always trustworthy, but older sites are less likely to be scamming customers.

According to ScamAdviser, Rushwork.in was started in June 2022 making the site barely two months old. Interestingly, on the website, the site claims its copyright year as 2021. Why would a legit site provide false information about the age of the website?

Why it might be harder to return the products
Any legit website will make it easy for people to return defective, damaged, or wrong products. What would you do with the wrong-sized clothes? But with Rushwork.in, they seem to be making it harder for people to return the items. How so, you ask?

Well, people are required to pay their own return shipping costs. Why would you pay for a mistake that is not even yours? What would happen if the item is cheaper than the return costs? In the end, you might have to live with an unwanted or defective product.

The customer reviews

We searched for customer reviews to know what previous customers were saying about the site. There were not many reviews outside the site and the ones we found we mostly negative. On ScamAdviser, the site has a 1-star rating out of 5, which is quite low. Most of the customers were complaining that they ordered products and nothing was delivered. 

This is such a huge accusation as the essence of online stores is delivering products. There were no other reviews on sites like Trustpilot or Sitejabber. 

Too good to be true prices?

When prices are too low, there are a lot of suspicions. How is the store able to meet its operational costs and make profits? If the costs are adding up, then something is amiss. Most scammers use low prices to lure unsuspecting customers. 

With Rushwork.in, they seem to have almost all their products on discount. While this is not wrong, it sure does raise a few eyebrows as the website is new. Putting a discount on almost every product you have is a common trick used by fraudsters.

On top of that, most of the so-called original prices are way lower than what other stores are selling. For instance, the AGARO Grand Digital Air Fryer goes for ₹5,999 but on Amazon, the original price is ₹7,495. Such huge differences don’t help boost the confidence of customers because lower-than-normal prices are the go-to move for scammers.

Bottom Line

Overall, there are a lot of characteristics seen in Rushwork.in that overlap with those seen inother scams. The prices are too low to be true while the reviews are generally negative.  Rushwork.in is a relatively new website which is not always a good sign as new websites have limited information.

There are complaints from different customers who claim they did not receive their items after ordering. The return policy is common in what other scammers do. They make it harder for customers to return their products. Caution is advised while buying from the site.
