In an era of widespread internet fraud, it's important to be able to spot a scam website from a mile away. So, is odadike.com legitimate?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to answer this question. We decided to check it out after many people searched for it on ScamAdviser.com. odadike.com is an online store that sells a wide range of products, from clothes to electronics.

A new website

Having been started in May 2022, odadike.com is a relatively new website. This doesn't mean that it's a scam, but it does mean that there isn't a lot of information about the website yet.

According to Whois.com, the registrant is from Vietnam, which is suspicious as the website claims that the company is located in Chicago, IL.

Where are they?

A store’s location is very important. It is the first place where you can buy products from the company, so it's a good sign if it's easy to find.

Odadike.com lists 122 Fremont Street, West Chicago, IL 60185, United States as their address. However, this is a parking lot according to Google Maps.

This is a common tactic used by scammers, as they can list any address without most people bothering to check whether it is real.

What the customers say

Customer reviews are a great way to get an idea of what a website is really like. However, there are few customer reviews for odadike.com on ScamAdviser.com and they are not positive.

One user claims to have ordered a product and was charged from another website. Another one is concerned about the overall charges of the products.

On Trust Pilot, the pattern is similar with a 2-star rating and not many reviews. Many complained that they could not see their order details after paying for their products. Another claims that the company receiving the funds is very different from the one on the website.

Again, this is a common trick used by scammers, as they can set up a fake website with a different name to receive payments.

Bottom line

There are a lot of red flags that suggest that odadike.com might be a scam. From what the customers are saying, it seems like they are not getting what they ordered or are being charged more than they should be. The lack of positive reviews also does not help the website's case.

It appears to be run in South East Asia with the primary focus being US customers.

We would not recommend ordering anything from this website until more information about it comes to light.

A Gucci bag or a new iPhone for half the price? Who wouldn’t want to grab such a deal? Scammers know this too and try to take advantage of the fact. If an online deal looks too good to be true, think twice and double-check things. The easiest way to do this is to simply check out the same product at competing websites (that you trust). Once seen as a problem for exchanges and whales, crypto theft now heavily affects everyday investors. Phishing links, fake support chats, wallet approval scams, SIM swaps, and malware attacks have become common. Knowing what recovery realistically looks like—and what it doesn’t—can prevent panic, bad decisions, and costly follow-up scams. Yes, crypto recovery is possible, but only under specific conditions and rarely through direct action by the victim. Blockchain transactions are final by design. Once crypto is sent and confirmed, it cannot be reversed. There is no central authority, no chargeback process, and no technical “undo” button, even if the transaction was clearly fraudulent. This is where many people ask whether stolen crypto can be traced. In most cases, it can. Every transaction
