Hivintage is an online store that claims to sell men’s and women’s winter jackets, mentioned as ‘stormsuits’ on the website. The site is more than a year old, but it does not seem to be very popular as it has no Alexa rank. However, it has been showing up in our list of most-searched websites, which suggests that Hivintage may be running ads to capitalize on online shoppers looking to buy winter clothing at this time of the year.

I found that the items seem to be lifted from various websites such as Amazon and Aliexpress. These products are supposedly being offered at comparatively lower prices on Hivintage or are out of stock on other website.

The website becomes more suspicious when you consider that it is not just the products that have been copied; the entire website seems to be using copied content. I found that the text being used on the ‘About Us’ page is being used by 58 websites and Facebook pages, most of which are selling clothing items. The full list is given at the end of the article.

Hinvitage accepts PayPal for payments. However, the PayPal account being used by this website is owned by ‘Shenzhen Feiyachi Industrial Co. LTD’. It is a Chinese company that is involved in the sale of Cleaning brushes for firearms; Apparatus for filling cartridge belts; Cartridge loading apparatus; Cartridge pouches; hunting…’. Therefore, it does not seem to be a clothing company at all.

There is absolutely no information given on the website about the company that is running Hivintage. There is no mention of Shenzhen Feiyachi Industrial Co. LTD either. Therefore, there is no way to get in touch with Hivintage.

User Reviews

Despite being over a year old, only one review for Hivintage was found even after searching multiple websites. The reviewer alleges that Hivintage is a scam as they were given a fake tracking number and received no response from customer care. You can read the review here.

Conclusion

There is a high likelihood that Hivintage is a scam.

Hivintage has a Trust Score of 1% on Scamadviser, which means it is extremely risky to shop on this website. You can read more about Hivintage’s Trust Score here.

The images and descriptions of the products being sold by Hivintage seem to be copied from other websites such as Amazon and Aliexpress. The prices on the website are considerably lower than competitors, which might signal that it is a scam. The website content is not original and there are at least 58 online stores using the same text. Therefore, Hivintage looks like a low-quality store using plagiarized images and content.

There is some evidence that Hivintage is a Chinese website, as the Paypal account being used to collect payments belongs to a Chinese company named Shenzhen Feiyachi Industrial Co. LTD. This company is not in the business of selling clothing, which is another major suspicious sign that Hinvintage is not a legitimate online store.

The only contact information provided by Hivintage is an email ID that does not work. This means that there is no way to get in touch with the company after placing an order. Despite being active for more than a year, Hivintage has only one customer review where it has been alleged that it is a scam. It is advisable to avoid shopping on Hivintage as it does not seem to be a genuine online store.

As the influence of the internet rises, so does the prevalence of online scams. There are fraudsters making all kinds of claims to trap victims online - from fake investment opportunities to online stores - and the internet allows them to operate from any part of the world with anonymity. The ability to spot online scams is an important skill to have as the virtual world is increasingly becoming a part of every facet of our lives. The below tips will help you identify the signs which can indicate that a website could be a scam. Common Sense: Too Good To Be True When looking for goods online, a great deal can be very enticing. A Gucci bag or a new iPhone for half the price? Who wouldn’t want to grab such a deal? Scammers know this too and try to take advantage of the fact. If an online deal looks too good to be true, think twice and double-check things. The easiest way to do this is to simply check out the same product at competing websites (that you trust). If the difference in prices is huge, it might be better to double-check the rest of the website. Check Out the Social Media Links Social media is a core part of ecommerce businesses these days and consumers often expect online shops to have a social media presence. Scammers know this and often insert logos of social media sites on their websites. Scratching beneath the surface often reveals this fu

How do I recover my crypto after it’s stolen? What happens if your crypto wallet is compromised? Can stolen crypto be traced, and can police actually recover crypto in 2026? These are the questions most people ask within minutes of realizing their wallet has been drained. Crypto theft is fast, quiet, and unforgiving. By the time most victims notice something is wrong, the funds are already moving across the blockchain. Once seen as a problem for exchanges and whales, crypto theft now heavily affects everyday investors. Phishing links, fake support chats, wallet approval scams, SIM swaps, and malware attacks have become common. Knowing what recovery realistically looks like—and what it doesn’t—can prevent panic, bad decisions, and costly follow-up scams. In a Nutshell Crypto recovery is possible, but only in limited situations Blockchain transactions are irreversible, but stolen crypto can still be traced Speed and documentation matter more than optimism Police and exchanges play a bigger role than private recovery services Guaranteed recovery offers are almost always scams Is it Actually Possible to Recover Stolen Crypto? Yes, crypto recovery is possible, but only under specific conditions and rarely through direct action by the victim. Blockchain transactions are final by design. Once crypto is sent and confirmed, it cannot be reversed. There is no central authority, no chargeback process, and no technical “undo” button, even if the transaction was clearly fraudulent. This is where many people ask whether stolen crypto can be traced. In most cases, it can. Every transaction
