I could not find any reviews on popular websites like ScamAdviser and Trustpilot. I could not read much into it as the website was registered in April 2023 according to Whois.com.
However, I noticed that the website claims to have over 500 reviews. I found this highly suspicious as it's hard to verify the authenticity of the reviews.
I also noticed that most of the reviews are all from the same day, 12th April 2023 which fuels our doubts. This looks like a desperate attempt to look legit as most customers will not double-check on the reviews.
Low Prices
I noticed that most of the products on Arestreasures.com have huge discounts. For instance, most of the products either have a 35% or 50% off. When I checked one item; the Compass Pendant (Gold), it's allegedly going for $54.99 down from $84.99.
The same pendant on Amazon is going for $22.99, down from $28.99. This could suggest that they are using the discount to lure unsuspecting customers, especially bargain buyers.

In their “Our Story” section, I noticed that they seem to use duplicated content. For instance, this phrase is also found in other dubious sites, “Our name is inspired by the Greek god of war, Ares, who represents strength, courage, and masculinity. We believe that our jewelry embodies these qualities and more.”
The same exact content is also found on another dubious website, Menlyandco.com. This could suggest that both menlyandco.com are part of a scam network that is using the same content, layout, products, and web design.
Confusing Contact Details
Though on the “Contact Us” page they have included a contact form, they have a different email on the return policy. They claim that should you need to return a product, you can reach them at support@elites-brands-ltd.com. The website listed is dormant which means emailing them will likely be futile.
This is a common move to make it harder for customers to get in touch or even return products. On top of this, they also state that customers need to pay to return products which is synonymous with scammers.
Other Telltale Signs
I also noticed a few other issues which make me doubt the legitimacy of the website;
- They use huge discounts, like buy one get 3 free, to lure unsuspecting customers
- I could not find any social media buttons on the website which is strange in this digital era
- The website is relatively new which makes it harder to judge and more likely to be a scam.
- They list FreyaTreasures as their name on the privacy policy, which adds more confusion and reduces user confidence.
Bottom Line
Overall, there are red flags that suggest that Arestreasures.com is likely a scam. The prices offered are low with huge discounts meant to attract bargain buyers. I could not find customer reviews outside their website.
Most of the reviews on Arestreasures.com were posted on the same day and all give a 5-star rating which is highly unusual.
There is evidence to suggest that this website is part of a larger scam network with duplicated content, confusing emails with different domains, and even mentioning of different website names, all pointing to this.
Caution should be exercised when shopping at Arestreasures.com as you are likely to get the correct product, and you will have to pay to return the product.
