Report review misuse
Thank you. We strive to process all reports within 2 working days.
Ordered the pallet of 40 items, they took my money but sent only one item (i12 wireless earphone). We presumed it was ordered by one of our grown up children so that their father could listen to the music on his phone and threw away the black bag it
came in. When I checked on the tracking of our expected parcel of 40 items the status said it had been delivered and the only item delivered on that day was the wireless earphone (could purchase for under £5). We then checked that the family had not ordered the earphones and realised that this was our parcel from Roadbeef. I have contacted them and told them that this is all we have received and they are asking me to send them a photo of the packaging with the tracking number on it, unfortunately we had disposed of the packaging because we didn't realise that this was our parcel from them. I have asked them to send me the details of the courier service they used as the package was posted through my letterbox so did not even see the delivery person, I am hoping that it was DPD as they take photos of any packages they deliver, if it was Royal Mail I'm not sure that they do take a photo. They know what they are doing, they are scamming people.
As an update I have just received the following email from the company. 10.30am 2nd May 2023

Sincerely sorry for your dissatisfaction.

First of all, thank you very much for your interest in our store and for having purchased the product, and I am also very sorry that you received an unsatisfactory product this time.
I would like to explain that the rules of the game of mystery pallets are uncertain, Forrest Gump have said :"life is like a box of chocolate , you never know what you are going to get ". So what product you will eventually receive is probabilistic. If the package is successfully delivered , it means that our transaction has been successfully completed, but as you are our valuable customer, we applied for a 5% refund for your unsatisfied product claim and hope that you will get the product you want in your next purchase.

I have responded telling them that they have not provided the 40 mystery items which I have paid for and which it states in the invoice they sent to me so they have not successfully completed the agreement/transaction.

I will continue to add to this to let everybody know how this unfolds. Personally, I cannot see a satisfactory outcome to this as they clearly knew what they were doing when they sent only 1 item. I knew it was 40 mystery items and didn't know what items I would receive but to only receive 1 item is a clear breach of the agreement.
