False advertising, lies and blackmail!
HEVC hardware acceleration is NOT supported on the Apple M3 processors, and apparently it is the same for all Apple silicon processors if the feedback is to be believed, despite their bold claims that it is,
as it is their main selling point.

HEVC encoding on a M3 Max with VideoProc Converter does not only take ages for even very short videos, it also makes the CPU very hot, reaching almost 100°C on a MacBook Pro 16” (!). This is obviously nothing like normal and it is the only software to do that.

Support answered, I quote:
"This problem is related to macOS Sonoma. With other macOS, Apple M3 is supported for HEVC hardware acceleration."

Apple M3 couldn't have been supported with "other macOS" prior to Sonoma as it was released with Sonoma.

They answered that they were sorry and would proceed with a refund and that I should let them know if I didn't receive it within a week. In the same mail, below, they asked if I could remove this Trustpilot review but I didn't even see it, so I ignored it. I would have anyway, this is not something to ask in those circumstances.

Well, I haven't received the refund and so I've let them know.

What they answered blew my mind:
"Please remove your review and we will process the full refund for you."

So, as if it wasn't enough already, on top of the false advertising and the poor excuses which are nothing but blatant lies, as with the refund that supposedly was already being processed but in fact obviously wasn't, they are now trying to blackmail me.

Incredible!

So here I am, and I'm not removing anything, doing quite the opposite thing even, exposing those illegal practices in detail.

Avoid this company at all costs!
